My mini heart shaped cookie cutter made an appearance today. I’ve never used my set of cookie cutters (which I bought over 5 years ago) until this week. Finally, I can put them to good use.
Like my Easy Valentines Heart Shaped Caprese Salad post, this pizza is a no brainer.
What you need:
mini heart cookie cutter
pizza crust of your choice
your choice of pizza sauce, I used my left over marinara sauce
whatever toppings you want on your pizza, I added fresh basil under my cheese. I love lots of toppings, but I wanted to keep it simple to show off the hearts.
Press the cookie cutter on your pepperoni slices..boom!
Follow the instructions of your pizza crust. I only had to bake my pizza at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes and it was done.
It was so cute and tasty. I was going to say that this is perfect for children, but this is fun for anyone. It’s so festive! I also think I’ll do this year round, I love me some hearts. I’m experimenting with cauliflower crusts. Have any of you seen the pins on Pinterest? My girl Becky at Kicks Culture inspired me to make the cauliflower crust pizza. Next time, I’m using her recipe. When I find my favorite recipe, I’ll share it on my blog!
Also, shout out to my little cousins, niece, ate (Ah-taaay), (Filipinos have all sorts of titles) Lynde & Kimmie. They are February babies <3 and Lynde is obsessed with pizza. I know Kimmie would somehow make a pizza gorgeous. Whoop, whoop!
Are any of you making Valentine’s Day treats this year?
