Hello, my beautiful friends!
This month, I got two Julep Maven Boxes, but today I’m going to share one.
Description: gold nail polish with red glitter
Color Description: English Violet Creme
Color description: Deep sea teal with silver microshimmer
If you know me, my go to color is ALWAYS Essie’s Ballet Slippers. I’m trying to change things up a bit, wear more color. I really like these hues and the finish. Since Spring is coming up, I’m not sure that I’ll be wearing a lot of dark colors, but who knows what my mood will be. It doesn’t hurt to have these as an option!
Julep Eye Sheen: Warm Fig
Liquid eyeshadow that glides on easily and sets to a satin finish. It’s a buildable, blendable formula enriched with Power Cell Complex. Water based formula that you can easily apply with your fingers or brush.
I really wasn’t expecting much out of this product because I haven’t had the best luck with liquid eyeshadows in the past, but it goes on smoothly and looks lovely. I applied it with my fingers. The shadow also dries quickly and doesn’t crease. My only issue was how dark it is. This would be great for an evening look, but when I tried to wear it (during the day), it was just way too much. All of my meetings have been morning/day meetings this past week, so I’ve been keeping it light. One of these days, I’ll do a look on my blog! 🙂
I’m really happy with this box, I have absolutely no complaints!
