I absolutely love this halter top dress. It’s the perfect mix of classic and modern.
I am a member of the Everywhere Society and Everywhere has provided me with compensation for this post about Macy’s Prom. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed herein are my own.
I was invited to the Macy’s Prom Fashion at Orlando’s Mall at Millenia on 3/29. Macy’s is one of my favorite department stores to shop at, so I was excited to see what the 2014 prom trends were so I could share them with my viewers.
How can you not think of sequins when you hear the word PROM 😉
I love their hanging butterfly decor
I couldn’t believe the attendance when I walked in. There were hundreds of excited tweens, teens, and parents in the audience. Their idol, Meredith Foster hosted the fashion show. If you don’t know who she is, she’s a teen lifestyle & beauty vlogger on Youtube . Luckily, Macy’s had amazing staff that helped me get a spot to take pictures (thank you, Molly, Janelle, and Alyssa!).
For the 2014 prom season, Macy’s is focusing on four main trends: Young Hollywood, The Secret Garden Party, Vintage Muse, and Prom Princess.
I really loved all of the styles but here are my favorites
I couldn’t choose just one… click on the videos to see my favorite prom gowns 🙂
Teal is such a fun color, but it also looks amazing on most skin tones. I love the length of this dress, not your typical prom gown.
I got to meet Merebear! Not only is she darling, but she’s also wearing another one of my favorites. Her high-low dress is by Hailey Logan. What a gorgeous color!
I’d also like to point out that if you’re not shopping for a prom dress, a lot of these dresses would be perfect for Quincenearas, Sweet 16s, and even a wedding party. There’s so many options, check them out here .
You know what else was cool? I got to meet local bloggers, check them out. They were so sweet!
What is your favorite from the show I attended? Let me know below.
