I became interested in Madison Street Beauty’s products when I saw some of my favorite YouTube gurus use MSB’s eye shadows in their tutorials. Not only are they loved by YouTube gurus, but they have quickly become an indie beauty favorite online.. and I can see why.
What you’re paying for is a high quality, natural product. You’re not paying for fancy packaging or chemicals. Also, if you’re a vegan, they have options for you! They do not test on animals and they offer a large collection of vegan cosmetics. Email ahead if you need help choosing vegan shadows. Their customer service is great, they respond so quickly. They are also proud to say that everything they sell is made by hand right in their offices in Las Vegas, NV.
Here are my swatches for Ocean Coral, Taffy, Bermuda Beach, Sunrise, Golden Olive, and Dulce de Leche.
Before we get into my experience with these eye shadows, I have to let you all know that I used Sephora brand eye shadow primer and a makeup setting spray by Victoria Secret. This is how I apply my makeup every day, no matter what brand it is.
My inner/part of middle eye has Sunrise on it. I blended the outer part of my eye with Dulce de Leche.
I took this picture 8 hours after I applied the eye shadows
This is Dulce de Leche and I have Bermuda Beach in the inner corners of my eye. What I love about Dulce de Leche is that it goes on dark, but it’s blendable. Don’t be intimidated by the color, you can use it during the day and at night.
5 hours after I applied the eye shadow.
I applied Bermuda Beach to my whole lid and then packed Ocean Coral on top. I lined my eye with Dulce de Leche.
The Miami Heat were playing..so I attempted to be festive 🙂
I took this picture 6 hours after I applied the eye shadows. There’s a little bit of fall out, but nothing major. It’s what’s expected when you wear glittery eyeshadow!
Please stick around in the next few weeks to see my looks with Golden Olive (a fave, the color is so pretty!) and Taffy. Golden Olive is great because it’s a deep green color with golden tones. It’s hard to tell in the swatch photo, but you’ll see soon. Unfortunately, I suffer from chronic allergies and I can’t give you an honest review about eye shadows if my eyes are watery 24/7.
I really like these eye shadows. Madison Street Beauty is a no frills company that know they have great products. What you see is what you get and I love that. Another thing I’d like to point out is the price, their eye shadows are typically $4.99 for 1g, which is awesome. Keep an eye out for sales too.
They’re also giving my readers fifty percent off. Type in anniea50 when you check out, valid until June 1st!
Have you ever used Madison Street Beauty Products? What were your favorites?
Madison Street Beauty was kind enough to gift me their eye shadows to take a look at. As usual, I promise to give my honest opinion.
