This is my second Foodie Penpal experience. You don’t know what a Foodie Penpal is? Check out my post from last month. Here’s a recap of this program:
Lindsay at the Lean Green Bean started a fun program called Foodie Penpals. After you sign up, she matches you with someone. From there, you get in touch with your penpal to discuss likes, dislikes, allergies, and food restrictions. By the 15th of the month, you send a package to your Foodie Penpal.
This month, my FPP was Jennifer at http://www.livelearnloverun.wordpress.com
She sent me these goodies
I didn’t get my package until today, which was beyond Jennifer’s control. Everyone in the program posts what they have received from their FPP on the first of the month, so I haven’t tried anything yet. I love what she sent me and can’t wait to taste everything.
Let’s go through my goodies:
Sausage & Bean soup mix by Frontier Soups
(one of my favorite brands, I actually sent her a Frontier Soup too!).
You add sausage yourself, but I’m not going to. It’s going to be in the 50s this weekend, so I’ll probably make it for dinner.
Salba Chia Seeds (premium ground)
I love chia seeds, but I’ve never used ground ones before. I’ll write about this soon.
Goose Poop (Sweet & Spicy Pepper Relish Spread)
She says it’s SOOO good.. hahaha 🙂 Definitely going to eat Goose Poop this weekend.
Vega One (all-in-one nutritional shakes in French Vanilla)
I’m so happy that she included this. My protein shakes are Vegan/Plant-based, and as much as I love them, I should probably branch out and try other brands.
Thank you so much, Jennifer!
Did you do the Foodie Penpal program this month? What did you get? 🙂
