I hope you all have a fantastic start to your week!
Here are some pictures from my iPhone from the past week. I think I’m getting the hang of my made up “My Week in Pictures” series.
Need to catch up on this month?
My Monday started off in downtown Mount Dora. We were going to spend the next couple of days in South FL, which meant I had to get my best friend our favorite cupcakes. We LOVE Cupcake Delights.
It was storming pretty bad, but that couldn’t keep me away from the cupcakery.
Plus, how rude would it be to show up with nothing. “Hi, staying at your house through out the week. Here’s a bag of nothing!”. I know that she doesn’t expect anything, but we appreciate her being a great host.
Had to stop by Target for some last minute things and of course an afternoon coffee.

If looks could kill.
Sergio had to get his hair cut later that evening. This super crazy woman who ruined his hair months ago greeted him. When she was ready to take him back to weed wack his mane, he told her “I’ll wait for Laura.”. She already looks nutty, but honestly, she gave him a craziest “I’m going to wear your skin” look.
I waited for him as I ate my cup of frozen diabetes. La Loca kept giving me nasty looks, but would also randomly interrupt Sergio and Laura’s conversation. I felt like we had to watch our back when we got out of there because she was going to jump us.
GIRL, YOU CRAZY!
We left Central Florida at 4 am.
It was time for a coffee break when we got to the Fort Drum rest stop.
HOW ABOUT DUNKIN DONUTS DIDN’T HAVE ESPRESSO.
HOW ABOUT THEIR ESPRESSO MACHINE HASN’T WORKED IN OVER A WEEK.
We got to South FL and Duke made himself at home at his Auntie Sarita’s house.
We had lunch at our favorite Mexican spot..
It’s actually called El Agave Azul, but before they purchased the space next door to expand, that store used to be a puppy shop. The sign used to say TACOS PUPPIES, but everyone called/calls it Taco Puppies.
I said “Yo, where’s Nicaragua?!”, the guy behind the counter told me politely that they only have countries that made it to the World Cup.
Two Dolla Tacos, say “Haaaaaaaayyy!”
We got ready for Sarah’s Scentsy Party
Their Fall/Christmas collection smells SO good. I got to sniff everything before all the girls showed up. VIP all up in here.
Noelle brought wine and a Corkcicle.
The Corkcicle was a big ol fail. She added it to a full bottle and wine spilled everywhere.
I ordered Christmas Cottage and Cedar Cider. I’m definitely ready to welcome the holidays!
The next day we went to 22 Bliss Cafe for organic cafe con leche… to die for!
I died and went to heaven.
I bought tons of stuff that I can’t wait to share with you all!
Oh yeah, we also went to the Dollar Tree and found these Duck Dynasty seat covers. We did this to her husband’s car because he was in Vegas.
Hey Uncle Si!
We went back to Taco Puppies where the Lady Guadalupe side eyed me.
Tacos al Pastor
I have the best time with Sarita. I miss her so much and can’t wait to see her soon!
All the fun ended and I had to go back home. Boo 🙁
Kidding. I had to work and of course the day started with coffee. I got a Venti something something something for my client.
and I was stuck in Starbucks for awhile.
I finally got to the boutique. You guys have to visit Henry & Joel at Papilio ASAP. I always have a fantastic time with them.
Doing my thang.
Meanwhile, back at my house…
Sergio took Duke to the playground, hahaha.
Got some goodies for Julie & Paulie’s Jersey Night get together.
Cerveza y Tres Leches
Everclear with this hilarious “Nacho Mama’s Apple Juice!” sticker.
They made Apple Pie shots. I’ve never had Everclear before, but it sounded scary. We were in good hands because it was delicious!
Julie ran out of ketchup. Since I live a few streets down, I offered to bring some. I’m not exactly sure why I offered to bring ketchup, because I don’t really eat it. But I save every ketchup packet that’s in my fast food bag. How Filipina of me. I brought this mess to her house anyways.
This is me in a nutshell: Lacoste bag, Sangria from Barcelona, and my ghetto ass ketchup packet collection.
Disco Fries & Pizza Fries
God bless New Jersey <3
I needed help opening my fancy sangria. Sir Paulie had my back. Yes, Sangria poured out of the bull’s butt. After one of Sergio’s Spain trips, he brought this home, presented this bad boy to me with pride and said “This made me think of you!”.
I’m thrilled that wine coming out of a bull’s butt made my husband think of me.
I hung out with their daughter Sammie. <3
We have someone in our group who’s extremely picky. I mean, I’ve never met anyone so picky in my life, it was intriguing and hilarious. He said things like “Ew, it grows from the ground, I can’t eat it.”, “My girl eats really weird things like broccoli & cheese.”, but then Sergio said “Spaghetti is a vegetable. It used to grow.”. I thought I was going to pee myself.
And my Sunday night ended with Octopus. RIP, Octopus.
