Happy Monday, guys!
Since I did a My Week in Pictures last week , I thought I’d try it again and want to see if this is something I can keep up.
We started off our week in South Florida. Duke loves going down to Broward because that means he stays at his Aunt Sarita & Uncle Nick’s house.
They have a big yard that he can run around in with Nali (pictured below).
I haven’t been to the Sawgrass Mills Mall in awhile and needed to pick up some random items This mall is huge, so Sarah busted out her map in the car and planned our day. Well, we ended up lost and in front of the Barbie Dreamhouse Experience. I secretly wanted to go in.
….Sarah’s map was from a million years ago, by the way. Ha!
I was happy to see the renovations that the mall recently went through, but I was shocked when I walked into Forever 21. This location went through a serious face lift.
Back in the day, I used to avoid this location like the plague.
There’s so much space now.
I know that Pollo Tropical isn’t anything major, but there isn’t one by my home, so I enjoy it when I visit. Plus, I became hangry at the mall. I love their Mojo TropiChop.
Yonutz, our new favorite joint.
I’m thankful that I got to spend time with Sarita. It was cut short because she had to work, but any chance I get to see her, I take it!
When I got home from South FL a F21 package arrived. I took advantage of their online Labor Day sale, but also got some goodies at Sawgrass Mall…
….and ordered more goodies. I should have my package tomorrow.
We hung out at One Flight Up (Mount Dora). Unfortunately, they don’t have any gluten free desserts, so I enjoyed Perrier and date night. We noticed that the table next to us were German and striked up a conversation with them since Sergio recently came home from Germany. That’s one of my favorite things in life, connecting with strangers and having an amazing time. They were so warm and friendly.
Cherry Blow Dry Bar in Winter Park
I cannot wait to share my experience with you guys. Spoiler: I want to live there.
..and whip my hair back and forth.
We started off with spring rolls
*raises the roof*
I don’t know what my Pho is called, but it pretty much has everything but the kitchen sink in it.
Sergio ordered a side of rare steak and cooked/marinated it with fresh lime juice for a couple of minutes. He learned this from a Vietnamese co-worker years ago. It reminds me of Spanish and Italian Carpaccio.
Random graffiti art on the buildings.
We hung out at the Milk District.
Checked out Kyle’s Bicycle Shop .
Cooper’s Hawk Winery (International Drive Location) VIP Party
Look who I ran into, Cecille! This town is so small, and so is the local blogging community, no complaints, especially since I’ve met fantastic people through out the year!
My settings on my camera were off, so my picture is blurry.
but Cecille saved the day! I commented last night how I could never be a fashion blogger because I wore this outfit two saturdays ago… hahahaha
Dinner at Taverna Yamas .
(Stuffed grape leaves)
Duke got left overs.
Calm down, he was under supervision.
Uncle Sergio meeting Sophia for the first time. He was terrified that he was going to hurt her because she’s so tiny.
“She’s so little! The babies in my family are like tanks!” is what he kept saying.
This is the exact moment that I realized she took poop.
Mommy, Daddy, and her big brother are doing fabulous. It seems like they’re getting in a routine and things are coming together.
We ended out night at Target.
Here is a Roku 3 box. I don’t know anything about it.
…I’ll ask the Mr. what it’s all about and we’ll give you all the details soon!
How was your week?!
