I had the pleasure of attending the fifth annual Luma Fashion Fete during Park Avenue Fashion Week ’14. This year’s theme was “Day of the Dead”.
The fashion show was styled by Tammara Kohler, stylist and owner of Fused Fashion. And the event was put together by Jane Layne Events.
Luma Fashion Fete took place at Luma on Park , a restaurant, lounge, and wine cellar. The contemporary venue was the perfect spot to host the fashion show. While we waited for the show to start, we enjoyed hand crafted cocktails, gourmet food, and entertainment.
Salseros opened up the show. Their energy was contagious!

Edgy meets elegant. I was completely enamored by all of the pieces and felt inspired when I left. Trying to pick my favorite piece was so hard to do, but I loved the Black Swan inspired gown and the red Lydia Deets ish wedding gown. It was such a fun event, I can’t wait to see what theme they do next year!
Did you go to Fashion Week? What was your favorite event?
