How many of you love juice bars or juice on your own? Personally, I do both, but I prefer to juice because I can control what’s in my juice and the sugar content. I’m always skeptical of bottled juice sold at the store because they’re full of added sugars, preservatives, and aren’t so healthy after you read the labels. There’s a particular brand that makes me laugh because they’re owned by PEPSI….
When Suja offered me coupons to check out their juice, I figured “why not?”.
It was easy to find Suja Essentials. They are located in the fridge section of the produce department at my local grocery store. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there wasn’t added sugars and preservatives. They were hands down the healthiest choice out of all the brands that were offered.
Flavors to chose from:
The first two that I tried were Sweet Beets and Mighty Greens.
I made my stank face and consumed the Mighty Greens, knowing that there was mint tea made me nervous (I don’t like mint tea). That face didn’t last long because it tastes so good. It was sweet, but not too sweet. It actually tasted a bit like banana, there wasn’t anything minty about it!
Sweet Beets was next, I knew I would probably enjoy it because I’ve liked every beet juice I’ve tried. And I was correct, it was delicious!
The other two (not pictured) was Green Delight & Uber Greens. Green Delight was delicious, Uber Greens was so bad that I couldn’t take more than a sip. It’s extremely bitter.
My favorite thing about these bottles are the convenience. I can’t always make it out to a juice bar or juice on my own. It’s nice to be able to buy my juice ahead of time and have them available through out the week. I’m not big on breakfast, so I usually drink these for breakfast or snack, but they’re perfect for any occasion!
What’s your favorite juice brand?
Suja Essentials was kind enough to let me try out their products. As usual, I promise to give my honest opinion
