Back in March, I got numerous notifications on my Instagram by fellow bloggers to buy tickets for an event called The Orlando Meet + Sweet by The Blogger Meetup .
Majority of us didn’t know who this group was because they wanted to remain anonymous, but there was lots of chatter and tons of excitement. All I heard was “sweets” and I was down. Plus, I would network with Orlando’s Bloggers. It sounded like a fun night.
The Blogger Meetup hosted the Orlando Meet + Sweet on the gorgeous outdoor area of downtown Orlando’s Ember. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the creators, Marissa and Danielle. I loved their style, vibe and how nice they were. Click here to see their super cute “You can blog with us” shirts. You can even purchase your own shirt here !
The only downfall was that in March, it got dark so quickly. Since we were outside, we didn’t have the best lighting, but luckily the girls had a photographer capture some moments before we all arrived.
They had over 6 stations. Each station had a local sweets vendor that spoiled us with goodies. I assumed we were going to have samples. Wrong. They had full sized, all you can eat sweets. I truly felt like a kid in a candy shop. My favorite station was not pictured, it was the gourmet cotton candy. I believe I had strawberry and champagne cotton candy, which was made out of organic pure cane sugar with fresh lemon zest on top. It was to die for.The hand crafted popsicles were amazing as well. I mean, who doesn’t love a boozy mojito popsicle (what?!) The dip your own Krispy Kreme station was quite popular, as well as the handmade bourbon marshmallows.
I couldn’t get over how organized the event was. The setting was just right, the goodies were perfection and we were all in great company. It was one of my favorite blogger events in Orlando. Because of all the requests and rave reviews, The Blogger Meetup Group created another event for us!
