I grew up in Colonialtown before it was trendy. Whenever I go out, I always seem to gravitate towards that neighborhood. My friends joke about my whereabouts or text me after they watch my SnapChats with “Pho and Boba, again?!”. Asian food is my security blanket, it can never do me wrong!
Quickly Boba kept popping up on my Yelp app, but when I was in the area, I never noticed the location. While I was on my typical Vietnamese food date, I wanted macarons. It was the perfect time to visit the cute little establishment that locals have been raving about.
The location is inside of a plaza (the one with Pollo Tropical) , far away from the road. It’s directly across from Orlando Executive Airport. This explains why I’ve never stumbled upon it when I was out and about.
“Quickly is one of the largest tapioca milk tea franchises in the world, with over 2000 locations in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. Quickly is the brand name of Kuai Ke Li Enterprise Co. Ltd., which was founded by Nancy Yang in Taiwan and started franchising.”
I love the super cute and bright atmosphere!
This is part of their drink and dessert menu.
They have meal options there as well like bento boxes, fried foods, burgers, etc.
You order at the counter, pay and they serve you..just like any other fast food spot!
I was there for the cotton candy macaron ice cream sandwich.
It was amazing. Bring a friend to split this with, there’s no way I could eat the whole thing by myself.
Treats to take home.
Cotton candy, Fruity Pebbles, Watermelon and Taro macarons.
What I liked about the macarons is that they are true to taste but don’t taste synthetic or overbearing. There are traditional flavors like vanilla, chocolate and almond but I wanted something different. I’m going to stick with the uncommon flavors at Quickly because they make them so well.
I’ll be back soon to check out their boba tea and snow soon! 🙂
