Most of you know that I was asked to be a Park Avenue Fashion Week ambassador. This is a pretty big deal in the South East and couldn’t wait to jump on board!
It was an honor to part of this great group of girls (and guy!). I don’t want to go into too many details because I still need to do a recap.
All of us girls got to spend time with boutiques on Park Avenue where they styled us for this fashion filled week. I chose LaBella because they were different. They are a high end lingerie store, with pieces from Europe. Not only do they have lingerie, but they have a couple clothing lines as well. Before going into the LaBella, I knew I wanted lace and silk pieces.
Here are the outfits I wore duing #PAFW15

I absolutely loved my outfits. Because I loved them so much, I didn’t want to go too crazy with the eyes. I felt like a super smokey eye or liner would be too much. A bold lip, perfect brows and beautiful lashes was what I went for with all of my looks. I wasn’t going to mess around with false eye lashes because there were so many events in one week. Let’s be real, they’re a hassle to put on and I need a fantastic mascara that will hold up! There is a little tutorial of my look for the big show below.
All week I wore Maybelline’s the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara and their Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara.
I really like this brow mascara. I’ve been using a high end brow gel for over a year and this is comparable to it.
It’s great! However, it is a wet formula and I think people don’t realize that there are “wet” mascaras and don’t give them a chance. This rubber wand helps build volume. Push Up Drama gives you lots of volume, the trick is to go light. Always go light with cosmetics and build your way up! I’ve had makeup artists dab their mascara wands with tissue prior to applying product on my lashes.
If you have a hard time holding curl, curl your lashes at the root and then a second time in the middle of the lashes. I recently learned this trick, totally life changing!
The big night
My dress was light pink, lace and very demure.
LaBella’s models wore red lipstick with wavy hair styles. They were going for the 1940s vintage look, which I attempted to do myself.
Face is done except for my eye makeup.
Cover your whole eyelid with a light pink/champagne shadow. I packed it on because, why not?
I added a mauve shadow to the crease/outer corner of my eyes and blended away.
Line the bottom of your eyes with the mauve color.
When I was taking pics, he kept crying. Say hello to my baby love!
I purchased both products in the beauty section of Walmart, they’re so easy to find!
What’s your go to glam look? Do you wear falsies or do you prefer to go without them like me?
