You all know that I’m a hair girl. I can easily leave the house without makeup, but if my hair is a mess… no way. I’ll even stay up a bit later to wash, blow out or set my hair for the next day. Being an ambassador for Hair Cuttery is such an honor, but I have a secret to share.
I’ve been slacking with proper hair care. The last time I got my hair trimmed was the day before my Chicago trip, about 3 months ago. Since then, I’ve had heavy heat to my hair. Blow dryers, curling wants, curlers, straighteners, you name it. If it’s a hot tool, it’s been on my hair. I also haven’t had a deep conditioning treatment since the beginning of January, which is a huge no no!
Being an ambassador has it’s perks, like trying out new products from Cibu . I’m a fan of their Ancient Serum , so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these goodies!

I can’t get over how great the Repair Shampoo and Conditioner are. I feel like they are the foundation to my hair routine. It restores body and shine to my hair without making it feel heavy.
Look at that shine!
I did add a little bit of the mousses to my hair while it was damp, before I blow dried my hair. It doesn’t feel heavy, nor did it leave product build up in my hair. The Finista finishing spray is EVERYTHING. Super light but buildable. All of the products smell so yummy, too!
I went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios a few days later. This is my third day hair. Before I went to the park, I added Ka Pow dry shampoo to my hair. My secret to life is dry shampoo, guys. If I don’t have time to wash my hair, dry shampoo saves the day. I feel like I’ve tried so many dry shampoos under the sun and I only have a handful of faves. Ka Pow is truly one of the best. What I noticed right away is that it did not leave a powdery finish. The formula is completely invisible which is great news for us girls with dark hair! And the smell…you guys, it’s delicious!
Can we talk about my DJ Khaled shirt from my friends at The Mainstreet Press ?! I am so blessed to have such fun and creative friends. Get your shirts here . They have other fun shirts that Disney lovers will go crazy over!
First stop was at The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge .
Artisanal Cheeses Charcuterie Board
Tasty fancy pants moment.
Derby Sliders (Wagyu beef & duck confit)
UGH, SO GOOD.
Some Star Wars Millennium Falcon drank. I don’t know.
I’m a Trekkie and totally out of my element. I had to chug it before I met this guy:
Heeey, Chewbacca, Heeeeeey!
He yelled in my ear, but I think he loves me.
Or I love him.
I spent the rest of my night chasing Storm Troopers, watching the Star Wars fireworks and hanging out at Star Wars Launch Bay. STAR WARS, STAR WARS, STAR WARS. I haven’t converted yet.
This BB-8 cupcake from the Starbucks on Sunset almost lured me into the Star Wars Club. ALMOST.
Too much Star Wars and excitement for one night. But my hair held up. How awesome does it look? Thank you Hair Cutter and Cibu for taking care of my mane!
