I love being an ambassador for Hair Cuttery. Working with them is such a pleasure because they’re constantly helping others in need. Just a few months ago, Hair Cuttery had a Share A Haircut program helping the homeless. The program donated more than 85,000 certificates to the homeless in February. How awesome is that? This year marks the 17th year of Share A Haircut and your support is what makes these programs thrive.
This coming Monday and Tuesday (May 2nd-3rd) Hair Cuttery and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) will team up. For every haircut purchased at one of their nearly 900 salons on the above dates, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a victim of domestic violence through NNEDV’s member programs.
“Together we are aiming to spread awareness about the hardships and injustices of domestic violence while pampering and comforting those affected.” -Dennis Ratner, CEO and founder of Hair Cuttery.
“It is essential to be the voice for survivors who have been silenced by domestic violence.” says Kim Gandy, NNEDV president and CEO.
The victims will have the opportunity to unwind and get pampered during a tumultuous time in their lives. This also helps them save money on a service they may not be able to afford, helping their financial empowerment.
Please take the time to take care of yourself, so you can take care of others this May 2-3.
