Happy Friday, friends!
If you’ve been following my SnapChat (hello, add me if you haven’t @AnnieAtoZ ), you know I’m all over the place. Meetings, events, family days and happy hour with friends is what my typical day looks like. I somehow manage to look put together.
First, I stopped shopping at Forever 21 for awhile now, but their 90’s vibe clothing in their window display lured me back in. I feel like I’m back in 1996. This girl loves it and you can’t stop me!
There’s tons of floral print at their store right now. Let’s just say I went a tad bit crazy and got a bunch of pieces. I can’t wait to show you guys soon!
Second, my Hair Cuttery fam takes great care of me. Even though I’m their ambassador, I swear I’m not biased. I’m the biggest fan girl because I’ve been to at least 4 different salons in the last six months in different cities/states and they do an amazing job last minute.
My schedule is absolutely insane. I usually call a few days in advance, I’ve even walked in and their services have been consistent and awesome. As much as I love my old stylist at the high end salon that I went to for years, she usually gets booked very fast. I’ve had to wait 2-3 weeks to see her. And a lot of times, I had to cancel because of my schedule. We would play phone tag. It wasn’t fun.
For my summer look, I got a trim, color and conditioning package. The sun always makes my hair uneven, so it’s something I have to constantly fix. I’ve talked about my annoying hair color problems here.
This time around, I went to the Winter Park location and Kristin did a wonderful job.
There was a BOGO Sale on Cibu products, so I stocked up on KA Pow dry shampoo and High Top root booster. I fan girl over KA Pow. Dry shampoos are hit and miss with me because a lot of them make my hair look horrible since a lot of formulas are powdery, which leaves an ugly white residue on my brown hair.
KA Pow doesn’t have a powder formula, isn’t sticky and absorbs oil. It smells so good, too! Cibu root booster is serious stuff. It creates beautiful volume to limp hair. Everyone borrows it when they come over.
Time for my healthy happy hour tip!
Frozen melon balls.
So simple. So pretty. So healthy.
And it looks like you care.
All you need is honey dew, cantaloupe, watermelon, melon baller, parchment paper and a cookie sheet.
Lay the melon balls on a cookie sheet.
My sister in law is so awesome. This girl gets me. When I saw her a few months ago, she got me Social Hibiscus Cumber Sake Wine.
She had poured it in a glass for me and I thought it was infused seltzer water. I didn’t know that it had alcohol in it. I actually had a couple and wondered why I felt tipsy. Hahaha!
It’s very refreshing!
I added frozen melon balls to it and it was perfect!
So summery. I’m in love.
What’s your look this summer?
