My favorite time of the year is right around the corner, FOOTBALL SEASON! I’m a sports fan, it’s how I bond with my family. I’ve bled aqua and orange since I could remember, but I also have family in Philly that keep me in the loop with the Philadelphia teams. It’s pretty exhausting but I live for it. The stress, the excitement, the tequila shots, I’m all about it!
When I found out that the Phins vs Falcons preseason game was going to be in Orlando, I thought it was joke. I know it’s just preseason, but I miss the 305 so much and being around my people.
My girl Kathy, who is a Giants fan was all about this game. She even wanted to wear one of my Phins shirts! When in Rome, right? Proud of you, boo. The both of us are familiar with NFL games and what to expect. Since the both of us knew about the purse policy, we knew who to turn to for the perfect NFL approved bags: Little Earth
NFL Purse Rules:
Fans may carry clear plastic tote bags up to 12x6x12 inches, one-gallon plastic freezer bags (so stylish!) or clutches no larger than 4.5×6.5 inches
This limits the types of bags and sizes allowed in the stadiums.
Little Earth started in 1993 by a couple that made fashion accessories from recycled material such as bottle caps, inner tubes and license plates. They are currently the leading manufacturer of licensed apparel and fashion accessories for professional and college teams.
As we headed towards the gates, Kathy and I noticed a sea of people coming towards us. It was confusing. We couldn’t figure out why people were leaving before the game even started.
Back to why people were leaving. This is why. Females were turned away because of their purses! I felt bad for them because we don’t have the NFL here, so a bunch of ladies didn’t know about the policy. They had to walk all the way back to their cars, put their purses away, make the trek back to the stadium. Not fun. We even saw a guy put his girl’s bag in a tree. Everywhere we turned, we saw these ugly clear bags. Ew.
This game was so much fun. People are going craaaaaazy.
I loved watching Foster do his thang. Williams made me scream like a psycho at one point. Wheeeeee!
Us girls sang and danced for our section. We play at Bar Mitzvahs, too.
Were you at the game? If not, why the heck not?
