I partnered with Radisson Blu because they have a pretty awesome contest going on right now. What I love about this hotel brand is that they have over 300 hotels in 69 countries and territories. Located in prime locations in major cities, Radisson Blu provides quality and comfort to all of their guests. I especially love their contemporary design.

My Top Five Dream Destinations are:
I hope to visit those amazing locations in the near future. In the meantime, I’ve been staying local and enjoying my family. This past weekend, my siblings and I spent Labor Day weekend at Marco Island, FL. They came in from Philly, Cincinnati and Orlando. This was very special because having the five of us under the same room is extremely rare. We stayed at my brother’s gorgeous condo on Tigertail Beach.
My family has a tradition of playing cards. I’m not really into it because no one gambles. YUUUP.
Random fact: I got in trouble in the first grade because I turned Uno into a gambling game. No one wants to let me live.
Marco Island is super chill. I love the vibe since my life is go, go, go mixed with pure chaos. My mind is constantly racing, but I seem to forget about work and my never ending To Do list when I’m here.
It was my first weekend off in a long time.
The whole condo is stunning, but my favorite part of it is this tiny nook balcony. I don’t even know what it’s called. I think I’ve heard someone throw around “breakfast balcony”. Every time I stay there, I try to be the first one up, make my coffee and enjoy the sunrise. It’s simply amazing.
My brothers are always down for doing some type of activity. I appreciate this about them because I think that laying around in the sand is boring. My big brother suggested paddle boarding, which I thought would be easy since I grew up surfing. The instructor kind of lost me on the getting on the board part. I looked at my sister and told her that the two of us were going to fall in face first.
My thirteen year old nephew volunteered to go on the board first. He’s really lanky and awkward but got on like a pro. Love him to death but if he can get on the board, anyone can. Sure enough, his mother and I got on our boards like cake.
We paddled through a relatively quiet area, a mix of fresh/salt water. I think it was a canal. IDK.
I just know that I did well and found a new hobby.
Oh and it was extremely hot. I wanted to cool off so bad, but not in this water. Ew.
Custom made chocolates by Dolce Mare.
There’s plenty of places to enjoy views like this. Some of my favorites are CJ’s On The Bay, Dolphin Tiki and Mango’s.
Iced Cappuccino from Fifth Avenue Coffee Co.
Southern Mule from Arturo’s Italian.
Grouper from Dolphin Tiki
You can’t beat the sunsets in Marco. Another great location to view them is at Sunset Grille.
I had an amazing time with my family. So much laughter and love. I really needed this time with them. Now back to reality.
