Sundays are for Samurais, or wannabe ones! Boaery GastroPub of Thornton Park is one of the best brunch spots in the Orlando area, not just because of it’s location, but their baos. Have you ever tried bao before? They’re pillows of Asian love. Okay, maybe not exactly but baos are steam filled Chinese buns that have different meat options. I’ve been a basic since I was a child, but Chinese BBQ has always been my favorite.
Samurai Sundays have a live DJ, patio games, unlimited mimosas and a bloody mary bar from 11-3pm every week.
Check out the brunch menu here.
Y’all know I had to get the Hawaiian style Loco Moco
Grilled meatloaf, fried rice, sunny side up egg and gravy.
Bao Bun, Poached Eggs, Bacon, Sriracha Hollendaise
Scrambled Eggs, Canadian Bacon, Cheddar Cheese
Chai Spiced Brioche French Toast
Lemongrass Infused Maple Syrup
Chocolate dessert baos
So simple, so genius. I can’t get over how good these are!
What I love about the Baoery is that it’s not your typical brunch menu. If you’re looking for something different to check out, I highly suggest getting your friends together for some baos and enjoy the chill lounge vibe.
I talked about the location early, you’re walking distance from Lake Eola Park where you can enjoy their Sunday Farmer’s Market.
