This week I sat through a snow squall on my family’s porch in Philadelphia but enjoyed gorgeous weather, surrounded by boats in Miami a few days later. I’m so lucky to be based out of multiple cities, but come on, it’s easy to beat the winter blues nowadays. Whether you’re a novice boater, dreamer, experienced captain or boat owner, you must attend The Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show docked at renowned Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin over President’s Day Weekend.
The show’s new location offers an island oasis where you can experience 1,300 new vessels-everything form personal watercraft, luxury yachts, wake boats, sport fishing, family cruisers and high performance sports. If you already have your dream boat, there will be thousands of marine products for sale-from nautical apparel to the latest GPS systems.
Because of the new location, getting to the boat show has never been easier. Free water taxi services are provided. This is great way to effortlessly jump start your experience and highly recommended. A new pier has been added (Pier 9) which will make it easier to host boats in water, including 100 new luxury yachts for sale, making The Miami Boat Show one of the biggest yachting exhibitions in the USA.
There’s even love for all of you foodies. This year’s food and beverage program want you to arrive thirsty and hungry. There will be over 150 featured options from casual fare to luxe.
Guests that are seeking the VIP treatment will also have access from everything from live music, premium bites, VIP parking, concierge services, and an exclusive on-water VIP lounge on board the 111-foot Biscayne Lady.
I’m also giving away 4 VIP tickets ($75 each, $300 value). All you need to do is comement below with your name, email and why you want to attend. Good luck! xo
During my recent trip to Miami, I got to spend time at Dinner Key Marina. Located in Coconut Grove, along the shore of Biscayne Bay. This area was originally an island but was connected to the mainland in 1914 by filling in the intervening space. It was the location of the International Pan American Airport and Coast Guard Air Station.
So scenic 🙂 It was the perfect spot to wind down and enjoy the beautiful day.
You can also hit up Miami Water Sports, if you want to have fun on the water and don’t have a boat.
