We love Tequila around these parts. Most of my circle can’t handle the sauce (what gives?) but it’s my fave and this is my blog, so let’s have some fun!
I’m cool with shots but there are times when I need to look like an adult while I have family over for brunch. Because it’s blood orange season, I’ve been going to town with my juicer. There’s nothing like fresh blood orange juice. I get a little too excited when I see these tasty little oranges in stores.
Before my guests arrived, I freaked out because I forgot to pick up Rosé. My bar is looking sad as of lately since I’m never home. All that was left were rum and tequila. Since everyone is on this new year, new diet, low carb, I hate everyone lifestyle I decided that they will have to drink tequila and they’re going to friggin love it.
When I went through my fridge, all that I had for a potential drink were limes, blood orange juice and thyme. It sounded really weird, but I googled if mixing these ingredients were a thing and sure enough, it was. They’re called Blood Orange Thyme Paloma Cocktails. The creator of this recipe was probably in pinch like me and just lucked the heck out.
Y’ALL IT’S SO GOOD. IT’S A CROWD PLEASER.

- 6 oz of blood orange juice
- 1/2 oz lime juice

- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- Crush chopped thyme and sea salt on a plate, using your fingers.
- Add ice cubes.
- Pinch the salt/thyme mixture.
- Add the mixture to the glass.
- Top with tequila, lime juice and blood orange juice.

Sweet, tangy, salty with a hint of herb. So delicious!
Okay, giveaway time! I’ve partnered up with B4 Beverage for this fun yet useful giveaway.
What is B4? It contains the highest level of powerful nutrients, vitamins, minerals and other high-quality goods your body needs to fight against alcohol’s toxins to prevent a hangover the next day. Basically, it’s a miracle in a can.
And it really works. After I hit 30, it all went down hill. For whatever reason, Champagne and Prosecco give me the worst headaches after a couple glasses. It’s such a bummer because they’re my favorite but I knew if B4 could prevent these bubble headaches, they’re legit.
They’re totally legit.
So legit that I brought them to Kathy’s house on Super Bowl night. We woke up hangover free.
To win 4 boxes of B4, all you need to do is post a comment below telling me your drink of choice. Contest ends 3/13 and winner will be chosen randomly.
