What I love most about my brothers is that no matter how busy we all are, we meet each other a few times a year. They live the farthest out of all of my family that lives stateside and we have some of the best memories together. If you’ve been following my blog for a couple years now, you’ve seen me post about their condo on Marco Island here and there.
It’s always a good time because we get to enjoy the beauty this piece of paradise has to offer. Water sports is a must during our trip, there’s been so many firsts which is pretty cool since they usually bring other family members down from Philadelphia. Every evening we sit on the balcony or find a restaurant with a view to experience the most breathtaking sunsets ever.
A few days ago, I purchased ingredients to create a summer cheese board for all of us to enjoy.
Everyone in the house are fans of white wine, so I grabbed a bottle of Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay.
My goal was to keep it light but wanted everyone to feel satisfied.
Meats: prosciutto, salami/sopressata
Cheese: blue, bellavitano espresso cheese
Fruits: fresh blue berries and raspberries
Nuts: toasted salty almonds
Garnish: fresh rosemary

B taking pics of the spread. He also loved the Wente Chardonnay so much, he wanted a pic of the bottle so he can pick it up when he grocery shops up north.
Everyone loved this Chardonnay. What was interesting is that they all picked up on the buttery, woody flavors right away. When I drank it, I was hit with fruitiness at first and then I experienced the oaky/wood flavor in the my throat. We all agreed that it was smooth and brought out the flavors of the cheeseboard. This snack was perfection!
These vacations help us unwind, bond and create awesome memories together. Making time for my loved ones makes me feel amazing. I always leave feeling wonderful, creative and motivated to tackle goals.
