I was introduced to Lorissa’s Kitchen meat snacks a month ago and it has been a favorite summer snack since. I’m always looking for delicious low carb options to nosh on, so I couldn’t be happier.
This gluten free line offers flavors such as: Korean Barbeque, Ginger Teriyaki, Sweet Chili and Szechuan Peppercorn. These tasty bites are preservative free, responsibly raised, have at least 11 grams of protein per serving, 100% grass fed beef and antibiotic free chicken and pork.
Being on the go all the time, I always pack snacks and light meals in my bag. Since these meat snacks are Asian flavors, I figured an Asian Trail mix would be interesting.
A cup of dried edamame
A cup of wasabi peas (gluten free)
and half a cup of dried mango
Mix everything together
Store in a mason jar.
I prefer this over regular trail mix. The savory flavors with the hint of sweetness is just right.
